Correctional medicine affords the opportunity to work in a unique and challenging environment. The work is rewarding providing meaningful and needed services to an underserved population.

We employ Physicians, Psychiatrists, Physician Assistants, Administrators, Mental Health Clinicians, Social Workers and Psychologists, Dentists, Dental Assistants, Phlebotomists, Medical Technicians, Medical Records, IT and IT support staff.

Some sites have been designated Health Provider Shortage Area (HPSA) by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Service Administration. This is a designation given to areas that are medically underserved, have too few primary care providers and where the patient population is considered high risk. TRAINING

Health Services Administrator and Mental Health Director training is required and offered to all our staff. We believe strongly in our model of medical and mental health care delivery and in the value of well-trained administrators who will work closely with you at your site.

Our administrators are trained and supervised in the areas of correctional healthcare that will translate into local success including:

  • contract compliance
  • client relations
  • operations
  • ensuring audit compliance (ACA, DPH, MASS CMR'S AND PDCU, Pharmacy, NCCHC and more)
  • budget management
  • conflict resolution
  • recruiting, interviewing, hiring and terminating
  • ensuring maintenance of community based standards of care
  • HR and staff training
  • maintaining proper credentials
  • discipline and employee review
